Giving the plane a bath

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day, so we decided that it was time to give our airplane a bath. We flew it over to Spirit of St Louis Airport with a bucket, 3 sponges and a fresh container of dishwashing liquid (Dawn-it cuts the grease!)

Parking over at Jet Direct (besides the hanger where our Corporate Jet that I fly is kept) we got out the ladder and filled the bucket with water.

Let the fun begin! It took us about an hour, and we didn't do the underside of the wing (I couldn't move today if I did.)

The airplane looks a whole lot better and Sky and I had fun doing it.

Lindsay is so proud that she can eat corn on the cob.

Sky and his new Scooter

Sky got a scooter from his mom on Sunday and spent all afternoon riding it around the neighborhood with his buddies.
