Christmas Caroling

My son went Christmas Caroling with his class at Wal-Mart this week. They called it "Ringing and Singing" as they were raising money for the Salvation Army. He was the only guy their (lucky!) but still had a good time.
Later in the week, we heard singing outside our house and were surprised when we opened the curtains to see a local church group Caroling outside our window. Now that's the spirit!

Christmas Lights

My neighbor has christmas lights on all his trees. This is a time exposure, handheld, with me taking the camera in a circular motion.

Freezing rain this weekend.

We sure get a lot of freezing rain here in St Louis. This past weekend was no exception as it freezing rained off and on all weekend. Fortuanately, we didn't get much accumulation.

Shutting down the Office

Here's what our office looked like the first week of December. Then, we had to be out by Friday, so everything had to go. We had it all out by Thursday, so no we're officeless.

Pass the Rangefinder-IV

I'm one of a bunch of guys on rangefinderforum.com who is participating in a group project. The project is you take a bunch of pictures with one rangefinder camera, a minolta hi-matic e. You have the camera for 2 weeks, take as many pictures as you want, then mail it to the next person on the list. I shot this one on Fuji 100, then converted it to black and white on the computer. I kind of like it.
