Gina had some landscaping done to the front of our house recently. She had them install the bricks and 5 plants in front of the house. Afterwards, she and little-boo watered the plants.
While I was out waiting on the Oriole to make an appearance, I happened to spot this daddy Cardinal on a distant tree. The shot is highly cropped, but is a nice photo of a pretty bird.
The Boeing Model 40, example shown here located at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI, was restored by my friend Glenn. It's a static restoration, that's what they wanted. I would love to see it fly.
Glenn had the OX-5 unhooked and out of the airplane in less than a day. When I stopped by today, he was starting to tear it down to find out what was making the squealing/binding sound we were hearing.
Glenn successfully flew the Zenith Z6a on Monday. It 's the first time is flown since the Beatles were here, 1964. He plans on taking it to the EAA Fly-In held in Oskosh, Wi. this summer.
A bearing is squeaking. We don't know if it's not getting oil, bad right out of the box as Glenn replaced them all or something else. Glenn is going to find out though.
